Davaar : where acoustic music meets electronica

The soul was made to go slow – Engine

Davaar (Sara Marlowe and Dave McMillan) grew out of Sara Marlowe & the Program as a project to explore the intersection of acoustic and electronic music in composition and live performance. The songs in the music player are some of our most successful experiments with loops and programming, and include remixes of three songs from Sara's CD True Stories. They are She Is All Of Us, True Stories and What You've Done. Enjoy the music and let us know what you think.

New Songs

We continue to add new tunes to our live sets, including Waterlog, a rockin' version of Dirty Little Secret, and two of Sara's classics: Fall Down On My Knees and Truth Be Told. We also pay tribute to our favourites and influences with some new covers too. All hail Air, Beck, Massive Attack, Pearl Jam and of course, Elbow... we can't get enough of Elbow!
